We can help you in a variety of ways with your horse, but mostly, building a relationship based on trust, cooperation and mutual respect, using fear free, force free training and methodologies.
Behavior Issues
Aggression-towards people or other animals
Fear of objects, people, or other animals
Stereotypic behaviors such as cribbing, stall weaving, box walking or pawing ground
Anxiety and lack of trust-especially for rescued horses and/or previously abused or neglected horses. But even for horses who have been trained with heavy handed traditional horse training methodologies
Husbandry Training
We can help horses who are fearful about trailer loading
We can teach your horse a stretch routine using clicker training. This is great for horses in retirement or those who are recovering from a medical procedure or who have a medical issue.
We can help you train your horse to accept (and not dread), haltering, saddling, fly masks, hoof picking, shoeing, and other husbandry procedures such as blood draws, mouth and ear checks, and vulva checks
We can teach your horse how to stand calmly for tacking and handling without force
We can teach your horse to come when called, back up when needed and not crowd you when coming through the gate
Enrichment
We can teach fun, cognitive games and tricks which will benefit your horse mentally, physically, and emotionally
